Local Fishing:

Fish the Cowichan River for Steelhead Rainbow trout, trophy Brown Trout, Coho Chinook and Chum salmon. The Cowichan River has approx 8 kms of designated "flyfishing only" water and 23 kms of water open to almost all angling techniques. The Cowichan River is the finest trout stream on Vancouver Island and one of the best in the whole province of British Columbia.
