How to get here / travel directions

FROM VICTORIA:
Take HWY 1 North into Duncan, turn left on TRUNK rd, it becomes GOVERNMENT rd, follow around the back of town until intersection with SHERMAN rd @ “BOB'S RESTAURANT”; turn left, follow until you see“TANSOR/TEMPO GAS”; turn left onto COWICHAN LK. Rd. (hit your trip meter); at exactly 6KM, CULVERTON will be on your left, follow it around for 1KM--look for the WHITE IGUANA sign on lane.

FROM NANAIMO:
Take HWY 1 South towards Duncan--but, at junction with HWY 18 turn right towards LAKE COWICHAN; aprox. 2km turn left at TANSOR rd.; turn your first right onto COWICHAN LK. rd. (hit your trip meter); at exactly 6KM, CULVERTON will be on your left, follow it around for 1KM--look for the WHITE IGUANA sign on lane.

PUBLIC TRANSIT:
For cheap travel from the ferry you could hop the greyhound bound for Duncan (on board ferry) and then the city bus from Duncan to the ranch. (the local city buses have front racks for mountain bikes)

From Duncan or Lake Cowichan, take bus number #7, asked to be dropped off on CULVERTON rd. (off COWICHAN LAKE Rd.) from there it’s an easy 1KM walk to the house-look for the WHITE IGUANA sign on the lane.
